Fusionistic @ NUS!

Yesterday was the moment that my frens and i have been waiting for, our hard work in planning and organising the gig, we get to see it through yesterday's gig...
The turn out wasn't that good but the bands featured were really great....all of them!None of them was bad...even the new band, Kryogenix did a good job...

Talking Cock and Drums

Scream Front put up a great performance yesterday...I mean they are my frens, my bros, but yest was really really good....yest, i really look up to them...It's like "Wow, my frens are so cool, I can't believe it!" Yuhan was really upfront with his stage presence,singing his heart out, Jo, as usual the on bassist ever so active, jumping and all and Faizal, the way he creates rapport with audience and also yest, to me, he sings better than i've ever heard all this while...
The audience were cheering loudly when they played the "zapin", a traditional song and make it sound really cool...it was really fusionistic.

But what i really wanna focus on in this blog is how these 3 guys really, really went though all the trouble to help organise this gig which has no benefit for them.They don't earn money from it, no profts,nothing, but their sweat and blood put to this gig, I really dunno how to compensate them, I really dunno how to thank them!They are not only efficient, but they are very dedicated considering that they are doing this for free.

Also, the form of encouragement they gave me when i appeared on stage to play swing swing on the drums. The way Faizal announce me on stage was like overwheming...received lotsaa cheers...haha. The 3 of them faced me and play andjump at the same time...that gave me the encouragement man.....I mean i have the tendency to play slow with that song but because they jump like dat,my drumsticks jumped too! I t went really fast...FAizal was like ponting to me and saying"Look at her, look at her, man!"
And then, i did a mistake, and Yuhan was like shouting on the mic "Good luck ah sista!" and Jo turned and mouthed the lyrics to give me back the rhythm....it felt good....really good to have people like them giving me encouragement in various forms. It feels like having 3 brothers taking care of his sister.

Johan, Faizal and Yuhan....this page is for the 3 of you! Thanks for everything brothers! Could never have done it without the 3 of you! Could not have played my drums for the first time on stage without your guidance and encouragement! Thank you ,thank you and thank you (infinity)!
